Cusco to Puno

From Cusco, I pushed south to Puno staying in the high Andes throughout the trip. It is almost desert like. Through these desolate dry valleys, herding is all that survives. The people live in adobe houses with grass roofs. Low stone walls, made by balancing the surrounding stones one on top of another, extend into the distances.
